The construction of Cypress Point Hunting Lodge began in the summer of 2005.  Family and friends built Cypress Point Hunting Lodge from ground up using cypress wood hauled from Baton Rouge every weekend for a full year.  The walls, ceiling, floors, beams and siding are all cypress wood.   Cypress Point Hunting Lodge is 3,400 square feet with 2 bunk rooms for permit holders each with 4 sets of bunk beds sleeping 16 and 2 full size baths .  Cypress Point Hunting Lodge has separate accommodations for Family members.  The main living area has a fully furnished kitchen, large den with big screen TV and wood burning fireplace, full size pool table and 12 foot dining table.

Cypress Point Hunting Lodge sits on 875 acres between the Tensas River and the Mississippi River in Clayton, LA which is 30 minutes north of Natchez, MS.  Our permit holders enjoy the luxury of having sleeping accomodations right on the hunting property.  Cypress Point Hunting Lodge provides kennels for hunting dogs and a covered area for 4 wheelers.

New addition for 2012/2013 hunting season.... 432 square foot mud room with lockers for each permit holder.
